Our History
SWM was founded by Pastor Gene Grant and his wife, Minister Ann Ansah-Grant in 2017 and we have been sharing the Gospel with all of our might since the day we opened our doors and our hearts to His people. SWM is a place where you will feel at home as we are a church family that loves God and others! We work hard to sincerely reflect this in the way we care about each other and our community.
Our Mission
Mark 16:15 says, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to every creature." That is our greatest mission. We are committed to helping others find and follow Jesus by spreading the Gospel. We want to make the loving God known in our city and the world, sharing the good news and helping others find the joy, peace, and hope that comes from knowing Him and receiving His salvation. We invite you to join us as Christ's ambassadors on earth.
Meet the SWM Team
Minister Dain Collins:
Dain serves as our Church Media Director and Men’s Ministry Leader, providing dedicated leadership in both communication and discipleship. He is also a passionate preacher of the Gospel, committed to sharing God’s Word with clarity and conviction. With a compassionate heart for service, Dain is deeply invested in charitable missions and community outreach, faithfully extending Christ’s love beyond the walls of the church.
Minister Melanie Collins:
Melanie serves as our Youth and Children’s Church Leader and Praise & Worship Leader, faithfully guiding the next generation in their spiritual growth while leading the congregation in heartfelt worship. She is also a passionate preacher of the Gospel, an accomplished liturgical dancer, and a devoted advocate for evangelism, using her gifts to inspire lives and advance the Kingdom of God.
Minister Suzette Allen:
Suzette serves as our Music Director and Praise & Worship Leader, providing gifted leadership in the ministry of worship. Blessed with exceptional vocal talent, she ministers to God’s people with grace and excellence, inspiring the congregation to enter into heartfelt worship and deeper communion with the Lord. She also assists with various aspects of church administration and growth.
Minister Vivia Grant:
Vivia serves as our Ladies Ministry Leader and Children’s Church Teacher, faithfully nurturing both women and children in their spiritual growth and development. She also provides valuable support in various areas of church administration and is known for her selfless commitment to community outreach and benevolent service, reflecting the love and compassion of Christ in all she does.
